    Because there are two Ponty boots from the 70's version of his band, one with Steve Smith and the other with an unsung drummer Mark Craney...

    And both sound great...just get them for the tom sounds alone.

    I'm listening to the Smith boot and it is nothing short of amazing.

    He's on fire and his technique is clear and smooth...

    How this guy played in a band like Journey is incredible.
